In this module we utilized NetApp On Command System Manager alongside an order line interface to make and oversee depiction duplicates and additionally utilize the preview registry and SnapRestore to reestablish information.

For this undertaking, I utilized NetApp OnCommand System Manager to make a preview duplicate. go to  to ‘Capacity  Volumes’,  then select the NFSvol, and making the new depiction named ‘snapA’here are the details as shown below for logging in.

I erased a record from the capacity framework’s ‘/and so on’ index and supplanted it from a preview duplicate. I began off by verifying whether the “create_ucode” and “convert_ucode” alternatives were empowered in the vol0 volume. Evidently these settings permit you to explore to the preview registry without accepting any consents mistakes. I didn’t have them empowered so I needed to turn them on.

From my Windows client, I then opened up windows explorer to the path ‘\\172.16.61.10\c$‘, opened the ‘etc’ directory, and deleted the ‘exports.bak’ file.

, I utilized NetApp On Command System Manager as a part of request to oversee depiction duplicates and preview reinforcement plans. I began off by exploring to ‘Capacity then to  Volumes’,  then selecting the NASvol volume, and opening the design menu for the volume by means of ‘Preview Copies  then clicked on  Configure.

In the event that we have  to see the preview duplicate timetable, just explore to vol0. In the event that you wish to change the rate for the preview save,we  need to tap on the sought volume, select ‘Depiction Copies – then to  Configure’, change the rate, and snap OK.

I made another document in vol0 and made a preview of the record. I then adjusted the document and reestablished the first form of the record from the depiction duplicate utilizing the Windows Previous Version instrument. I started by making another record in vol0 by means of the capacity framework CLI.

I then saw the current depictions and made another preview of vol0 named snap1
